Westad Company was founded in 2012 and began its operations by developing gas stations and enhancing them with additional services such as car service centers, cafés, exchange services, and pharmacies.

In April 2019, it partnered with Al-Maha Petroleum Marketing Company to provide manpower for several of its fuel stations.
